Prism ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Prism mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information through our authentication provider, Clerk.

Business Information: You may provide your business name, brand color, logo, preferred trade or industry, and custom rate cards.

Client Data: You may store client names, email addresses, company names, and discount preferences to generate quotes.

Quote Data: We store the quotes you create, including project names, line items, pricing, and status information.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but do not have access to your full payment card details.

Device Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token and platform type to deliver notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Prism service
• To generate and share quotes with your clients
• To provide AI-powered quote suggestions and upsell recommendations
• To process subscription payments
• To send push notifications about quote activity (e.g., when a client views or approves a quote)
• To send transactional emails related to quote approvals and change requests

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Prism:

• Clerk — Authentication and account management
• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription billing
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered quote suggestions. Quote details you submit may be processed by Anthropic's API to generate recommendations.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — Push notification delivery
• Resend — Transactional email delivery
• UploadThing — Logo and image file uploads
• Neon — Cloud database hosting (PostgreSQL)
• Meta (Facebook SDK) — Ad campaign measurement and install attribution. The SDK collects device identifiers to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

Prism does not access or collect:

• Camera, microphone, or photo library data
• Location data
• Contacts or address book data

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the app and measure ad campaign performance. Quote data is shared with your clients only when you explicitly choose to send or share a quote link.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at the email below.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication through Clerk, and secure payment processing through Stripe. Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest.

8. Children's Privacy

Prism is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
